Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Plastering and Masonry Work:
• Perform plastering work on block walls using plastering machines.
• Ensure even and smooth application of plaster on block surfaces.
• Mix and prepare plastering materials according to project specifications.
• Machine Operation:
• Operate and maintain plastering machines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with plastering machines as they arise.
• Follow manufacturer's guidelines for machine operation and maintenance.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Identify and rectify any imperfections or inconsistencies in the plastering work.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with other masons, construction workers, and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Block Wall Plaster Mason, with a focus on machine-operated plastering.
• Proficiency in operating plastering machines and other masonry tools.
• Strong understanding of plastering techniques and materials.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or training in masonry or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in masonry and plastering work.

Working Conditions:

• This position involves working on construction sites, which may include exposure to various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials and equipment as required.
• The role may involve standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
