Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Mason to join our construction team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to build and repair walls, foundations, and other structures. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in masonry work, the ability to interpret blueprints and plans, and the ability to work in a team environment to complete projects on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Lay bricks, blocks, and stone materials to construct and repair walls, floors, and other masonry structures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout, dimensions, and materials needed. Mix mortar, cement, and other building materials according to job requirements. Measure and cut masonry materials to precise specifications. Build foundations, walls, and other structures with a high degree of accuracy and skill. Install and repair brick and stone features, including fireplaces, chimneys, and decorative stonework. Assist in the preparation and layout of the job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Work alongside other construction workers and contractors to ensure proper coordination and timely completion of projects. Ensure all masonry work is completed to industry standards and local building codes. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of masonry tools and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure the safety of all team members and the public.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role in construction. Knowledge of masonry materials, techniques, and equipment. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Experience in laying bricks, stones, and concrete blocks, and working with mortar. Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures in the construction industry. Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines. Good physical stamina and ability to work in all weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: AED900.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
