We are seeking a skilled

Mason

to carry out various masonry tasks, including laying brick, stone, and concrete blocks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of masonry techniques, be capable of working independently, and be committed to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

:

Lay brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials to construct and repair walls, foundations, and other structures. Mix mortar and other materials for use in masonry work. Measure and cut materials to fit construction plans and designs. Install decorative and structural masonry elements such as stone facades, fireplace surrounds, and more. Repair and restore existing masonry structures. Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Ensure safety and quality standards are met on all jobs. Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness. Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient work flow.

Requirements

:

Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar construction role. Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with safety protocols and construction site procedures. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Attention to detail and precision in work. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

:

Experience with specialized masonry techniques (e.g., stonework, bricklaying).
