Learn more atOverview:Marketing & Therapy Expansion Lead, Electrophysiology is responsible for driving strategies and effectiveness of EP as well as empowering and coaching the team in line with the unitxe2x80x98s goals and the companyxe2x80x98s overall policies and procedures in the Middle East & Africa. They will be influencing, providing direction, yet also monitoring and planning for the business unit while putting up working standards and taking part in directing the administrative services of the company.Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for developing and coordinating the implementation of the overarching growth strategy for EP in the Middle East & Africa
  • Formulates and communicates overall business objectives and strategic plans for the relevant geography
  • Makes timely decisions and balances short-term needs with longer term strategic impact
  • Establishes and manages budgets, forecasts and reports
  • Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results.
  • Maximizes regionxe2x80x99s EP performance and productivity from insight generation to strategy development; studies marketplace trends and changes taking place for implications to business
  • Cultivates relationships with key EP decision makers at hospitals and leads relationships with strategic accounts in the country
  • Manages relationships with EP/Cardiology partners in the region
  • Responsible for leading across the matrix to achieve EP expansion and market share results.
  • Builds organizational marketing capability, and allocates appropriate resources to achieve growth goals
  • Plays a key role in shaping the EP external environment.
  • Represents J&J EP in the external market
  • Builds an engaged high-performance workforce and establishes a plan for continuous marketing & business development. Leads and coaches the sales (indirect) and marketing team (direct)
  • Conducts business activities in compliance with ethics and legal requirements.
  • Incorporate policies and procedures of the company in EP business unit operations
  • Monitor and review EPxe2x80x99s project activities and ensure that they are brought to completion within scheduled period and budget
  • Provide effective management to EPxe2x80x99s business activities impacting its strategic and financial growth
  • Create new strategies for marketing and monitoring measures
  • Build effective relationship with the customers to maintain revenue growth for the organization
  • Responsible for training and mentoring EP staff; motivating them all for effective performance
  • Set up the EP business unitxe2x80x99s strategies for developmental & promotional activities
  • Analyze and explore market trends; identifying new opportunities in assigned region
  • Coordinate with other teams to develop & implement plans for launching of new products
  • Perform efficient EP commercial governance management
  • Ensure harmonious environment for EP sales & marketing team
  • Develop and communicate the expectation levels and vision of MEA EP to the teams in line with the EP MEA BU corporate vision and goals
  • Coordinate with sales & other departments, integrating objectives and ideas for EP growth
  • Allocate resources behind potential EP centers and regions; all aimed at EP business expansion.
General Responsibilities:
  • Meet all applicable quality, legal and HCC compliance requirements (i.e. HCC/HCBI/ANTI-CORRUPTION/FCPA/US-GCC/Privacy/SOX/QA/Safe Fleet/Promotional Materials)
  • On time reporting of spontaneous adverse events (AE) reports and quality complaints for all products
  • Successfully complete all mandatory training on time
  • Cooperation during inspections
Qualifications
  • A bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in business administration or in any related field from an accredited university or college
  • At least 5y+ relevant business experience (diversity of experience either Sectors or Geographies is a preference).
  • Healthcare sector experience is a must, Medical Devices experience is a plus (especially knowledge of the Cardiovascular)
  • Sales and marketing leadership background with operations knowledge
  • Fluency in English language, both spoken and written
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills
  • Able to influence in a matrix organization
  • Experience from a similar managerial position, experience with leading people
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent Decision-making skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office xe2x80x93 word, excel, PowerPoint
  • xe2x80x9eCan doxe2x80x9c and xe2x80x9ewinningxe2x80x9c attitude
