We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.In this role, your key responsibilities include:
Project Management and Budgeting- Manage key marketing projects and drive them to closure through effective project management skills in line with the required standards and track marketing budgets to ensure maximum return on the marketing dollar through effective negotiation skills. Proactively manage the marketing calendar for assigned customer accounts and reconcile actual activity versus planned activity. Ensure all SOPs are adhered to, from briefing to sign offs, budgeting to media planning and that all activities are traffic managed properly and implemented on time.
Campaign Management- Engage with key business stakeholders to understand their challenges and deliver marketing campaigns which meet their objectives ensuring seamless execution. Develop and manage the strategic marketing plan and associated marketing calendar for the new business. Oversee and manage all marketing related activities in assigned customer accounts, from planning, agency briefing, traffic management, review, managing internal approvals and production and develop media strategies and plans in co- ordination with the external media agency which are in- line with business objectives and budgets.
Digital Marketing Management- Develop, oversee and manage the digital marketing strategy to achieve the business goals across all campaigns and initiatives. Manage and provide assistance on digital projects to ensure successfully rolled out as per agreed processes and within agreed timelines. Develop and manage the social media strategy, enhance the design, content and conversion of ADCBs website and other digital tools to support the achievement of business goals.
Production Management- Ensure all required approvals are in place from key stakeholders before commencing production as required and ensure the production quality and timelines are met to meet business requirements.
Management Reporting- Deliver a weekly status update to the head of the department and chief marketing officer, share data and statistics on campaign effectiveness, cost savings, quarterly media report, marketing spend data, competition tracking in line with the required standards.
Vendor Management- Work with bank approved external suppliers to deliver marketing activities as required ensuring maximum value for the marketing dollar spent by keeping an eye on costs as well as through effective negotiation. Manage relationships so that the performance of suppliers is of a standard that ADCB would expect and accept, ensuring creative integrity is maintained and quality control is managed in briefing / debriefing and brand adherence. Monitor and control the advertising and promotion funds allocated to product programs as required.
People Management- Manage self and team in line with ADCBs people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance. Manage the effective achievement of the teams objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximize overall performance, engagement and motivation.
Budget Management- Contribute to the preparation of the business areas budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures- Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation.
Continuous Improvement- Identify opportunities to contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programs and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment.
Customer Service- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the banks required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
SkillsThe ideal candidate should have the following experience
At least 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role in a reputed organization
University Degree in Business or Marketing
Working knowledge of advertising and marketing
Experience of working in a marketing role within an organization of reputation
Strong planning, analytical and time management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic is an advantage
Computer Skills - MS Office
