Manage and implement an overall marketing and communications strategy.
Manage all brand, advertising and marketing creative, including design, copy and images.
Manage all media buying.
Identify and manage potential sponsorship and promotional opportunities and manage the strategic business alliances and relationships.
Lead website content development for the brand and third-party channels.
Maintain the image library for the property with corporate office governance and monitor ongoing photography requirements, actioning when required.
Maintain and direct all third-party marketing and PR related agencies.
Manage and implement Marketing & PR budget and report monthly on all campaigns.
Build relations with regional and international media and proactively seek PR opportunities to promote the property portfolio within these media.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders (including airlines, tourism authorities, owners & business partners) required to ensure the delivery of the PR strategy.
Manage media visits to the property, liaising with Global PR team and/or international PR agencies as/if appropriate, whilst liaising with on-property teams to ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay showcasing all property attributes as relevant per stay. Also maintain working summary of all ongoing media visits.
Work closely with the GM and hotel team to create story angles and ongoing calendar of events (e.g, visiting chefs, practitioners etc) to promote regionally and internationally to drive coverage, also ensuring all departmental Marketing related work is managed and actioned.
Manage an effective social media strategy to support the overall business objectives for the property. Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the companys brand identity. Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns. Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
Developing and managing social influencer stays and attending social influencer events.
Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Press office responsibilities including responding to media requests, maintaining PR systems, files and image library and managing press clippings library, distributing to hotel teams and Global PR team, as appropriate.
Build and maintain database for regional and international media contacts.
Prepare monthly Marketing & Communications activity and PR clippings report and share with MH UAE team.
Provide guidance to MH UAE GM & as spokespeople, clarifying on key messages and liaising with Global PR team when necessary.
Monitor industry trends and keep senior management updated on brand perceptions and any potential issues that could negatively impact the business.
Qualifications English is key and supporting languages is additional benefit. Seasoned Marketing & Communications Manager with Marketing, PR and Social Media knowledge to take care of the hotels requirements from Rooms, F&B and Spa projects. An expert in managing campaigns, stakeholders, multitasking, executing promotions, social media page management, media management and understanding the brand guidelines.
