The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing efforts for Big Bad Wolf, overseeing event-specific campaigns and year-round brand initiatives. This role involves planning and executing marketing strategies, managing PR and digital campaigns, and ensuring consistent branding across all platforms. The Marketing Manager will also analyze performance, manage budgets, and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance the company's global presence and achieve marketing objectives. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will be one of the key persons in charge of organizing and managing the Big Bad Wolf book sale events. Given the scale and complexity of these events, preference will be given to candidates with experience in event management
• Develop and implement marketing strategies for Big Bad Wolf's large-scale book sale events, tailored to regional target audiences.
• Plan and oversee event-specific marketing campaigns to maximize attendance, engagement, and revenue.
• Play a key role in organizing and managing book sale events, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor on-site marketing activities during events, resolving challenges to maintain quality and consistency.
• Lead PR efforts for book sale events, ensuring robust pre- and post-event media coverage by cultivating relationships with local media outlets.
• Develop and manage organization-wide PR strategies to enhance the brand's reputation.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to ensure consistent exposure.
• Oversee social media campaigns and live updates during events to engage audiences and drive real-time participation.
• Manage the organization's year-round digital marketing efforts, including website updates, email campaigns, and social media management.
• Track digital performance metrics for events and campaigns, providing actionable insights for improvement.
• Strengthen the organization's brand presence across markets by ensuring consistent messaging, visuals, and branding standards.
• Develop long-term strategies to position Big Bad Wolf Books as a leading global book sale brand.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive advantages, and growth opportunities.
• Use audience insights and feedback to refine marketing strategies and improve campaigns.
• Manage the marketing budget for events and organization-wide initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.
• Analyze marketing performance metrics and prepare reports to measure campaign impact and inform decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the marketing team, ensuring alignment on event-specific and organization-wide tasks.
• Collaborate with senior management to align marketing strategies with organizational goals and provide regular updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with key sponsors, community organizations, and strategic partners to support marketing efforts.
