DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team. Our hotel is a popular family and resort destination with 723 rooms, 14 food and beverage outlets, 7 Pools and a private beach, this award-winning property offers elevated comfort and food inspired by from around the world.
As a Marketing Manager, you will coordinate online promotions and updates, Public Relations/advertising, creative initiatives, photo shoots, and provide strategies and implement plans for social media efforts to enhance our product visibility and foster positive relationships with external business partners and individual customers. Internally, your role involves facilitating communication with other departments to support and implement their marketing goals and overall objectives.

As a Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for and performing the tasks:
Communicate effectively, to target markets, the amenities and benefits of the hotel, including hotel refurbishments, food and beverage provisions, conference, banqueting and events
Report monthly into the Director of Commercial with coverage and planned media/marketing plan for the 3, 6 9-month period and future annual plans and calendars
Handle media inquiries and interview requests and respond to enquiries from media, individuals, and other organizations.
Produce and submit PR, Marketing and Social media activity report.
Provide and manage all social media content and posts, along with all editorial, keeping in line with the hotel brand and persona.
Monitoring social media channels in responding to guest requests and ensuring relevant internal parties can assist.
Build a network of digital influencers to create content and showcase the hotel, staying within hotel persona.
Manage and monitor the hotel website, ensuring images are up to date, content is in line with the branding and any promotions have been showcased.
Support in any e-marketing related campaigns and activities.
Attend any hotel meetings relevant to the role; Commercial, Sustainable, Front Office and Food and Beverage
Work with local third-party partners, including local media, and maintain professional working relationships with local official bodies
Create and maintain a comprehensive media and marketing contact management system relevant to the target audiences of the hotel
Fact check content, across third party and social platforms to ensure solid coverage and positive reflection of the hotel brand
Ensure press material, image library, third-party websites etc. are updated and accurate.
Ensure media and partners lists are accurate, updated and well maintained
Work closely across all hotel departments, seeking proactive opportunities and planned promotions to address specific business challenges, as required
Support the development of promotional activities, marketing channels and the production of marketing materials for specific events
Manage and promote the hotel on Hilton branded websites
Work within marketing budgets by using resources effectively
Maintain a comprehensive media and marketing contact management system relevant to the target audiences of the Hotel

As with any job, we do have certain criteria that you will need to meet in order to be considered. These are detailed as follows:
Any degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
Previous Marketing and/or Press Relations experience in a similar environment
Understanding and previous work experience with hotel operations. At least 3-5 Years in the hospitality, experience in a leadership role is a plus
Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
Knowledge and skill for the complete use of Windows Applications and MS Office Suite along with administrative skills
Previous preferred experience in implementing a business excellence or Marketing management model
Ability to review and interpret large amounts of data and information
Demonstrates an understanding of commercial awareness, able to adapt to changing priorities with key judgement and decision-making skills
Creatively minded and has a desire to work in marketing and/or PR for the hospitality industry
Strong written and verbal skills along with interpersonal and public speaking skills
High level of responsibility and reliability
