Job Description

Job purpose:To define overall marketing strategy and plans of Al Tayer Motors (ATM) Electric Vehicle Brands, ensuring synergy, consistency and quality in marketing approach and fulfilment of company objectives.Roles & Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Prepare the annual marketing budget for ATM and ensure effective and efficient utilization of the marketing budget for the Division.xc2xb7 Define the macro level marketing strategy and facilitate the formulation of strategies for marketing and overall brand management activities for ATM, ensuring results are directly related to the overall business plan of ATM.xc2xb7 Monitor the implementation of approved marketing plans working with and through the appropriate units within the Customer Experience and Marketing department and in close collaboration with Brand GM.xc2xb7 Collaborate with Events Management team for planning and execution of events as necessary.xc2xb7 Review identified opportunities to enhance and build stronger brand equity for all brands represented.xc2xb7 Monitor overall brand performance within each business unit and work closely with brand/sales managers to ensure that the overall brand performance and image is consistent and in line with company and principle expectations.xc2xb7 Ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to as required by the company and principles.xc2xb7 Review brand performance reports (Key Business Indicators) and prepare quality analyses to facilitate better sales and to aid decision-making by top management.xc2xb7 Obtain market information from mystery shopping and various research activities to keep abreast of competitors activities.xc2xb7 Maintain effective working relations and contacts with Principals, key external parties, local and overseas and remain abreast of new developments and approaches relevant to ATM.xc2xb7 Provide leadership and direction to subordinates within the Marketing towards the achievement of goals and objectives.xc2xb7 Guide, motivate, and evaluate subordinates on their performance, productivity and progress, while identifying training needs of team members to improve efficiency and ensure conformity with standard procedures and practices.xc2xb7 Ensure that team members acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs.xc2xb7 Ensure potential successors are identified, developed, and trained for succession planning purposes.Qualifications & Experience:xc2xb7 Masters Degree in the field of Marketingxc2xb7 Minimum five to eight years of experience, with at least five years in a Senior Management rolexc2xb7 Proficiency in English & Arabic (Native Arabic speaker)xc2xb7 Relevant work experience with/for brand conscious organizations automotive sectorxc2xb7 Experience with Electric Vehicle Brands is an advantagexc2xb7 Strong leadership skillsxc2xb7 Proven track in creativity and innovationxc2xb7 Excellent communication and negotiation skillsxc2xb7 Strong written and oral skillsxc2xb7 Ability to support large organizationsxc2xb7 Ability to work well under pressurexc2xb7 Strong at social perceptivenessxc2xb7 Strong analytical skillsxc2xb7 Strong organizational skillsxc2xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Officexc2xb7 Knowledge of marketing concepts, events management, PR and mediaAdditional Information
