The Role: Marketing Executives support marketing activities for exhibitions and/or special events e.g. awards, and conferences, and work under the supervision of the Marketing Managers.


Key Responsibilities:


Campaign Management and Execution:


• Maintain and optimize websites, working with internal support teams to make enhancements.
• Assist with the development of the drop schedule and content marketing calendar.
• Assist in the delivery of all planned campaigns.
• Create tracking links and maintain tracking master files per show.
• Researching competitor events and associated marketing activities.


Exhibitor Marketing:


• Act as the point of contact with all show exhibitors (sending the welcome email, dealing with marketing requests, sourcing exhibitor information etc).
• Create and distribute exhibitor marketing collaterals.
• Collect insights onsite such as exhibitor feedback and testimonials.


Media Partners:


• Coordinate requirements with Media Partners ensuring adherence to timelines and plans.
• Research new external media for use on shows and updating media files accordingly.
• Assist with the setting up of media deals with external organizations to ensure maximum exposure.


Other tasks:


• Liaise with external suppliers and assist in the coordination of design and production of marketing collaterals including sales brochures, print advertisements, web banners etc.
• Carry out administerial tasks such as creating PO's, filing of documents, setting up emails on Emarsys.
• Drop in copy to new websites and update the website with new content and images, provided by the Marketing Manager.


Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:


• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in marketing is necessary.
• Experience working in Exhibition/Events Marketing is a plus.
• Experience in the Middle East market is a plus.
• BBA/BSc/MSc/MBA degree in Marketing or related field.
• Ability and willingness to travel for business and events.
• Experience with the following tools is a plus: Adestra or Emarsys, PowerBI, SalesForce, Google Analytics, and social media business manager suites.
• A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication.
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in 360 marketing and measurement.
