Job description
We are looking for a creative, relationship-focused, detail and outcome-oriented Field Marketing Director to support the region's initiatives and pipeline growth.


As a Field Marketing Director, you are responsible for working with the sales team in their respective local markets. Responsibilities include developing and managing 1:1 and 1:few field-based demand generation programs, local partnerships, webinars and event campaigns to build awareness, drive and nurture leads, and accelerate opportunities to close in key geographic territories.


This is a strategy, as well as an execution, role. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop agendas, event schedules and a budget. You will ensure plans align with the overarching product roadmaps, business priorities and Korn Ferry's vision. You will work closely with our sales organization and manage out-of-the-box 1:1 and 1:few account-based marketing efforts to accelerate opportunities to close.


This position requires someone who is able to keep a close eye on all stages of the pipeline and closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate deals, and close business, as well as find the right mix of programs that supplement regional digital/social campaigns to grow our presence across target accounts.





Key Responsibilities:

• Demand Strategy: Execute and optimize a high impact, scalable regional marketing strategy that is aligned to the pipeline goals for your region.
• Market Presence and Lead Generation: Develop and execute field marketing strategies and other outreach activities to promote our services and establish a strong local presence. Efforts include events, webinars, sponsorships and workshops; the creation of outreach.io sequences for 1:1 and 1:few business development nurture; localization of global thought leadership; a focus on building the local database of contacts; and the maintenance of localized sales collateral to ensure our sellers have provocative, relevant content to advance their conversations.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify key decision-makers, trends, understand competitor activity and gather insights on the evolving needs of our target audience.
• Event Planning : Plan, organize, and execute regional business development events, including roundtables, webinars, trade shows, and conferences to engage prospects and customers.
• Content Development: Collaborate with business leaders, product marketing/management, and corporate marketing to develop region-specific content that resonates with the target audience and supports demand generation efforts. Partner with content, customer success, product marketing and/or sales engineers to create materials that document local customer success and stories that can be used to attract prospect interest.
• Partnership Development: Identify and establish partnerships with local industry organizations, influencers, and associations to expand the reach and impact of marketing efforts.
• Reporting and Analysis: Track and measure the performance of all implemented activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

What you'll need to be successful:


This role requires close collaborate with business leaders and your marketing partners across global campaigns, content/creative, product marketing, and PR to support an integrated marketing plan that maximizes pipeline influence and drives a holistic message to the market across multiple channels. Key traits:

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience working in marketing functions such as field marketing/regional marketing, ABM, or demand generation.
• Experience in B2B services/product marketing with engaging mid-market to Fortune 500 companies preferred.
• Experience partnering directly with sales leadership and local sales teams to jointly pursue new pipeline, accelerate deals and close business.
• Experience in mapping regional programs with broader corporate editorial calendar and thematic campaigns.
• Experience with different GTM motions including New Business, BU Expansion, Upsell/Cross-sell that generates new conversations and pipeline in target prospect and customer accounts.
• Ability to analyze data to understand your territory's target accounts (demographics, account signals, etc.) to back into a field marketing strategy that aligns with corporate and business goals.
• Ability to measure the impact and effectiveness of campaigns and drive recommend changes that result in higher engagement and/or conversion.
• Excellent internal and external verbal and written communications skills is a must.
• Prior event experience, especially executive and C-Level engagement programs, is a must; a mix of hybrid, in-person, and virtual event experience preferred.
