We have global ambitions - no small thinking here.Why this roleWe believe theres still so much potential within the Saudi market that we want to capitalize on, and we believe a local marketing team that understands the market best can help lead this effort.Your mission in one line, position Calo to win further in the KSA market, and help lead our local team to build one of Saudi Arabias strongest local brands.Scope of role (TL;DR version)Content and Brand BuildingYoull be responsible for building the Calo brand even further through storytelling as a vehicle, and most importantly finding the right local tone of voice that would fit the Saudi market. We are primarily a Saudi company, and we want our content and stories to reflect that.Youll have to lead the team in setting the vision for the brand in the long run, and in developing the short-term plans to deliver on that vision.Marketing and CommunityYoull own building the community around the Calo brand, from working with influencers that align with our brand mission, to finding and pushing behind the next big influencer in the space of health.Your goal would be to also build on our existing offline brand presence, and find more opportunities where Calo can be present in physical spaces with customers.Team & leadershipYoull have an amazing team of Saudis to work with, your role is to lead and guide on high-level strategic items, but also on the small things such as the quality of our content.Youll be the go-to person for representing the marketing efforts in Saudi Arabia for the wider company, and the facilitator between cross-functional collaborations with your team members.Whos the right fit for us
At least 8 years of experience in the marketing and brand building space
At least 6 years of leadership experience in leading large multi-disciplinary teams
Exceptional understanding of brand building frameworks and how to build a following
Ambitious, driven, and holds incredibly high standards for what great brands should be
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in tech D2C start-ups is a must , food-tech would be a big plus
