A Marketing Development Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for coordinating with the Department Head and other Departments in assisting in managing of digital marketing, content creation, advertising, market research, brand management, public relations in marketing, event planning, budget management in marketing and reporting in order to drive the company's marketing efforts forward.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Marketing:
• Assist in managing digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC advertising to enhance the company's online presence and generate leads.
Content Creation:
• Contribute to content creation efforts, including writing blogs, creating videos, and designing infographics to promote travel destinations, services, and attractions.
Advertising:
• Support the Director of Marketing in planning and executing advertising campaigns across various platforms, ensuring their effectiveness.
• Assisting in developing plans for the advertising and marketing of company products to raise the company's market profile and increase sales.
Market Research:
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to market trends, customer preferences, and competitors to help shape marketing strategies.
• Study, analyze and support in developing the marketing strategy/plans for the company's products and services to achieve adequate market penetration/market share/brand positioning within the DMC's respective markets.
Brand Management:
• Help maintain the company's brand image by ensuring consistency in marketing materials and across different marketing channels.
• Assisting with translating business department objectives and strategies to prepare brand portfolio objective, plans, strategies to facilitate the growth of B2B and B2C irrespectively.
Public Relations:
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and travel bloggers to secure positive coverage and press releases.
Event Planning:
• Participate in the organization and management of events, trade shows, and promotional activities to showcase the company's services and engage with potential customers.
Budget Management:
• Support in monitoring marketing expenses and budget utilization to ensure cost-effective strategies.
• Communicate with the Department head all the organization of promotional activities, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently and within agreed budgets, to raise the profile of the company and increase sales.
Reporting:
• Generate reports on marketing performance and key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and present them to the Department head.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A relevant advanced degree or certification is a plus.
Professional Experience:
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing or a closely related field. Previous experience in digital marketing, content creation, or brand management is essential.
Expertise in Digital Marketing:
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with various digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, social media advertising tools, email marketing software).
• Ability to effectively implement and monitor online campaigns, track performance metrics, and optimize strategies accordingly.
Communication Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Ability to present ideas clearly, persuasively, and in a manner suited to different audiences.
Creativity & Innovation:
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and contribute to campaign development.
• Ability to think outside the box to solve problems and deliver unique marketing strategies that drive results.
Analytical & Data-Driven:
• Analytical skills to interpret data from marketing campaigns, websites, and customer behavior, providing insights to inform decision-making.
• Comfort with using analytics tools to assess the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies for better results.
