Join Caterpillar Construction Industry Marketing Innovation's team as a Marketing Communication Specialist. You will be responsible to develop and execute the Marketing and Communication Plan for Africa, Middle East & Eurasia including specific objectives across different channels, and segments like general construction, road construction, quarry & aggregates.
This is a 12 months fixed term contract.
What you will do:
Regionalize global assets for the market and roll campaigns through both cat-owned channels and the dealer channels.
Lead new product introduction launch strategy in the region.
Coordinate marketing activities with Marcom Managers from the AME Region dealerships.
Promote dealer best practices in the region.
Develop our Lead Generation Campaigns Plan for the region in collaboration with our Digital Marketing team.
Define and coordinate multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle.
Maximize sales lead collection from all potential Marketing sources.
Measure and report the performance of marketing campaigns.
Campaign and Commercial Program Management
Lead the commercial programs and set up the strategy.
Develop and identify the offering with the support of the Africa Middle East and Eurasia Sales Team
Tailor and roll campaigns / commercial programs with dealer support.
Coordinate and promote with Sales and Marcom Managers from the Africa Middle East and Eurasia Region dealerships.
Follow-up on sales leads conclusion with the Africa Middle East and Eurasia Dealers and Sales Team
Overall, you can expect to:
Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish.
Responsible for budget management and control.
Support our Africa Middle East and Eurasia Dealer network for Marketing campaigns and strategies.
Define disruptive marketing communication strategy for product/technology/services promotion via physical & virtual customer experience including major tradeshows.
Working in partnership with internals and creative agencies to develop creative briefs for advertising including print, digital, and video assets.
Analyse industry trends and the competitive environment.
Lead large regional projects and work with stakeholders across Business Units
Skills You Will Have

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviour's.
Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers).
Promotion and Marketing Communications: Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.
What Will Put Ahead
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing, Communication, or Business.
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Marcom / Commercial
Demonstrated proficiency in multiple project management.
Strong Business Acumen to measure return on investment.
Metrics-driven marketing mind
Must have strong writing and presentation skills and examples of successful communication strategies and results.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to deal with issues crossing boundaries or persuade others inside or outside the organization to act.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Fluent in English required.
Top candidates will also bring:
Experience in Sales, Digital Marketing preferably in B2B.
Experience working with dealers for marketing initiatives execution and channel management.
Knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Eloqua.
An understanding of the construction industry, products, technologies, services, and its customers.
Additional Information
Must be open to travel up to 15% international travel.
No relocation package will be offered.
A hybrid role will be required to be in the office 3 times a week.
French, Chinese, or Arabic will be a bonus.
