The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a critical role in driving the company\'s marketing and communication strategies, directly impacting, and brand perception. The scope of the role includes overseeing all aspects of marketing. This role is critical in driving brand awareness, promoting products or services, and managing the company\'s reputation across various media channels. The Marketing and Communications Manager works closely with other departments to ensure that all marketing and communication efforts align with the company\'s objectives and enhance its market position.Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns that align with the company\'s strategic goals.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and design marketing materials using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Use secondary design programs like Canva for quick and effective internal communications.
  • Create visually appealing and engaging content for various channels.
  • Design and create marketing materials, e.g. illustrations, PowerPoint Presentations, videos, banners, product data sheets, brochures, etc.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage exhibitions and events from concept to execution.
  • Oversee booth design, event logistics, vendor relationships, and on-site event management.
  • Evaluate post-event results to drive continuous improvement in the future events strategy.
  • Work closely with the CPO on the development and implementation of effective internal communication strategies and employee/stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure consistent internal messaging.
  • Create and distribute internal newsletters, memos, and updates, proactively.
  • Create a calendar of internal communications, including automation and regular updates.
  • Write and edit technical documents, reports, and manuals.
  • Craft compelling copy and editorial content for marketing materials, websites, and social media.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, outlets, journalists, and magazines.
  • Create and distribute press releases and manage media inquiries.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and PR campaigns.
  • Crisis management - develop communication plans to manage and mitigate potential PR issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication between marketing and other departments.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments to streamline communication processes.
  • Manage B2B social media accounts and create engaging content.
  • Develop and execute B2B email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize for better results.
  • Oversee website content management and updates, primarily on WordPress.
  • Basic understanding of PHP for minor website modifications.
  • Ensure the website is optimized for SEO and user experience.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance engagement and grow the online community.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Brand Positioning: Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing and communication materials.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand target audiences and competitive landscapes. Adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Reputation Management: Monitor and manage the company\'s online reputation, addressing customer feedback and reviews.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the department\'s activity.
  • Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
  • Carrying out assigned tasks in a safe manner.
  • Attend HSE Training and Drills.
  • Supervise and Monitor the safety of the team.
  • Report any unsafe conditions and practices at the workplace.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • 10-12 years of work experience in a similar profile.
  • Strong background in event management, PR, media relations, and writing editorial content.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, branding, and public relations practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and PR strategies.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, SEO/SEM, and content management systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive marketing decisions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and other design platforms.
  • Proficiency in Canva.
  • Experience in event planning and management.
  • Strong writing skills, including technical writing and copywriting.
  • Proven PR and media relations experience.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with B2B social media management and email marketing platforms like Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of website management, particularly WordPress, with basic PHP skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
