JPC - 3319 - Market Surveillance Specialist/ Officer 1 year contract renewable Location: Abu Dhabi : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Surveillance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in market surveillance systems development and a strong understanding of financial markets and regulations.

Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and integration of market surveillance system with exchanges platforms ensuring a seamless onboarding process. Collaborate with exchange partners and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specification, and implement the solution tailored to each exchange's unique data formats. Conduct the three phases of testing of the FIX feeds to validate accuracy and performance. Lead and conduct the final sanity check/test of the production connectivity. Provide ongoing support for any issues faced with connectivity or FIX messaging during the period of the engagement. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to market surveillance. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on market surveillance systems. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. - Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and regulatory frameworks. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
