You will be working as Market Development Manager Data Centers MEA, will be part of Electrification Business Area for Smart Power division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to sup-port the regional focused Market Development team and LSU (Local sales Units) team(s) by focusing on defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies specifically aimed at developing market demand for ABB power protection solutions specifically in the data center space.

Your responsibilities
Contributing to local Business Unit/Product Group strategy definition and execution through the analy-sis and identification of new markets, segments and/or product solutions
Analyzing customer needs for the portfolio, securing customer advantages and benefits as well as white spot analysis and connecting strategies, penetrating the market, developing, and implementing business strategies for newly defined areas in alignment with the Business Unit/Product Group strategy
Providing market intelligence analysis in support of identification and development of new markets, segments, or solutions, participating in internal work groups to share know-how, processes, and market information.
Identifying, leading, or contributing to identification and acquisition opportunities to expand into the newly defined area, collaborating with all related internal contacts ensuring alignment, efficiency, and effectiveness in the implementation of the commercial strategy.
Actively supporting with high level product specific and market application knowledge, coordinating product marketing launch development plans, and ensuring efficient and effective execution together with the area and regional manager
Identifying partnership opportunities and participating in the definition of partnerships agreements together with local Business Unit, participating in planning and implementation of customer events and trade shows
Ensuring budget (volumes) and profitable growth targets are achieved in the respective countries for all assigned product groups, ensuring achievement of targets on orders, net price variance (NPV), Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Your background
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree \xe2\x80\x93 Engineering and/or electrical trade-based education with additional learning and/or experience in technical sales and business development including export and cross border busi-ness considerations.
Passion for business growth and problem solving.
10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in providing solutions and knowledge towards data center industry professionals.
IT/computer literate as required for typical technical business role in present times.
Fluency in English language is mandatory.
