Job description: Reported to Market access Sr. Manager
The Market access Manager at Amgen works to ensure our products are accessible for patients. They communicate the value of our products to healthcare providers, payers, and policymakers, aiming to maximize patient access, reimbursement and achieve annual goals established by value, access& policy leadership.
Responsibilities:
Market Access & Reimbursement : Maximize access for Amgen portfolio based on payer responsibility in targeted sectors/accounts through highlighting the value of Amgen portfolio. Map decision processes and identify key decision makers. Support development of market strategy of pipeline & existing assets including creation of strategy, payer research, pricing and contracting strategies, payer policy and partnerships. Inform the cross-functional teams about new developments in his/her assigned therapy area access space and their relevance for Amgen. Building long-term relationships across multiple stakeholders ( PTC members, payers& policy makers) and senior decision-makers, both inside and outside of Amgen, and sustaining extensive and rich networks to advance business partnerships and deep customer relationships
Account Management: Develop a comprehensive and effective territory account plans, stakeholders mapping, and pricing & contracting tactics aimed at achieving and exceeding annual goals established by Value, Access & Policy leadership. Ability to engage all key stakeholders (Pharmacist, Planners, Payors,... etc) around patient ecosystem. Must be able to effectively collaborate across all corporate functions- Medical, Marketing, Sales, supporting teams, etc. Key account strategic lead; Develops and executes innovative market strategies to access health care providers and accounts in a compliant manner. Developing, deploying, and enhancing deep and broad requisite knowledge of the Saudi healthcare ecosystem, Amgen, comparators portfolios and customers (provider organization and payer), in order to build powerful, evidence-based solutions that create value for Amgen, potential customers and partners in the healthcare market. Identifies drivers/barriers and coordinates pull-through initiatives across field teams Provides actionable field intelligence and recommendations to Amgen home office Serves as a resource/consultant to customers and staff regarding payer policies and processes. Communicates territory activity in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management.

Requirements: University Degree in a Life Sciences/Health discipline (Medicine, Pharmacy) Minimum 3 years' experience as Key Account Manager or Market Access Manager in pharmaceutical industry in Saudi market. (Non-Amgen employees). Demonstrated track record of introduction of new products in Hospitals. Post-graduate degree or Courses on Health Economics, HTA, Market Access, Negotiation Techniques, Communication Techniques, ... is a plus Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication
