We\xe2\x80\x99re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.Abbott Diabetes Care business is looking for a Market Access Manager for Gulf to be based in UAEAs Market Access Manager, you\'ll-Monitor and anticipate relevant reimbursement developments and to create action plans to address upcoming market access challenges.Position will own the responsibility to achieve market access and reimbursement for new ADC products (formulary listing, coding, coverage & pricing)Position will establish and leverage critical relationships to key market access stakeholders, developing customer intimacy and aiming for manually beneficial partnership opportunities.Position reports to the Regional Director and will interact with the Country Managers.What You\'ll Do-Understand, describe and prioritize most relevant (influential, accessible) market access stakeholders (payers, governmental bodies, industry association, professional associations and other stakeholders) for local ADC organization/business.Build trust and strategic relationships with payers: understand the specific needs of payers and reimbursement-related stakeholders and identify mutually beneficial partnering opportunities.Analyse market access trends/health policy changes and continuously map reimbursement requirements by payer type/ account for on market products. Anticipate access barriers and cost containment risks. Negotiate funding and price (if applicable) and support our products in reimbursement negotiations and health technology assessments.Differentiate our products adapting or evolving a global value story to a local healthcare context in order to avoid price erosion and get preference. Develop appropriate communication platforms to reinforce the value messages for our products (e.g. workshops, payer info material).Understanding the healthcare system within the countries of responsibility and the influence of significant key networks and customer group in line with company needs and market access goals.Developing and following through the tender process and driving excellence in tender management, including building tenders structure and price suggestion including PNL analysis. Tendering submissions in coordination with the head of the countries and the other regional office functions.Supporting the skills\' development, knowledge and competence of the countries\' team in order to effectively execute their activities and gain competitive advantage.Partner with global market access to inform product development & pricing based on MA customer needs. Develop launch plans for new products mapping out formulary listing, local coding, coverage and pricing.Be a subject matter expert in HTA (health technologies assessment) and EbM (Evidence-based medicine) recommendations on Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM) and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). Adapt global Health Economic (HE) models to local health care context, where appropriate, build own HE models.Contribute actively to ADC\'s global market access network by providing relevant local country input and sharing best practices.Required Qualifications-Required: advanced Degree in Science, Economics or related areas, Preferred: Master\'s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Economics or Health Policy.Broad knowledge of the Countries\' reimbursement systems.Robust understanding of national reimbursement authorities including localized decisions and the ongoing changes that could affect the commercial goalsDemonstrable track record in working with KOLs/reimbursement stakeholders in influencing product guidelines, removing barriers to ensure products are used in key centres.Market access experienceTender Management experienceDemonstrated ability to influence relationships and leverage knowledge internally across a matrix structure to optimize opportunities with customers and achieve shared goals.Ability to influence internally at all levels without line management authority.
