Customize technical data into simple compelling messages in the format required and appropriate for local stakeholders
Define Value Propositions by consolidating Core Value Dossiers, stakeholder needs, local environment and Brand priorities
Play an active part within brand teams and identify opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on brand objectives, propose to brand teams and provide training of analysis, tools, evidence, actions, and programs to support and communicate the value propositions
Monitor changes and competitive situation in the environment to anticipate risks and opportunities for MKA
Understand stakeholder needs and requirements for demonstrating value
Develop pricing scenarios, P&R strategies and monitor prices together with MKA Director
Prepare submissions and objections handling
Prioritize market access activities together with MKA Director
Liaise with Region and Area to identify further requirements for value propositions development
Provide strategic contribution to the financial planning processes
Engage assigned MA authorities and customers on a regular basis: National and / or regional public market formulary listing agencies relevant for market access decision-making, Experts and advisors to MA authorities, Pricing and/or Reimbursement authorities
Obtain, maintain, and optimize formulary listing (with or without tenders)
Maximize formulary listing results, measured by accounts
Negotiate with MA authorities and formulary listing agencies
Strategic account planning to build distinguished quality access and sustainable win-win partnership
Map decision-making process and criteria, regular monitor, and update
Perform systematic stakeholder mapping, gain thorough understanding of formal and informal decision-making
Understand the account needs at organizational and decision-makers levels
Lay out short- and long-term account access vision, goals, key strategies, and tactics
Lead the execution of strategic partnership at the assigned MA authorities/ committees
Proper integration of key risks & opportunities, strategies & tactics into country map
Monitor competitors strategies and prepare appropriate Market access responses
Improve access policies and conditions
Monitor closely changing dynamics in terms of access policies & conditions, such as pricing, reimbursement, formulary listing, other relevant payer polices & guidelines, and, where applicable, tender specifications
Identify areas to move from low(est) price-based to value-based decision-making, leverage global policy concepts, tools, and international experts to improve or preserve access policies and conditions
Identify and execute payer value-added programs: Based on strategic account planning, identify account-specific payer value-added programs which provide short- or/ and long-term success for AbbVie defined portfolio. This may be payer engagement programs, or local health economics studies

The skill to analyze scientific and pharmaco-economic data and determine its relevance to stakeholders, incorporating it into value messages.
The ability to analyze complex models and scientific data and extract key messages from them.
Strategic thinking skills to understand how to position a value-story within the context of brand and affiliate strategy.
Effective communication skills to engage with customers, deliver value messages, and gather insights.
Leadership and project management abilities to oversee cross-functional projects aimed at developing value propositions.
Strong communication skills to facilitate internal information sharing and collaboration within brand teams.
Collaboration skills to work with other MA functions and brand teams to gather and share insights in support of value proposition development
QualificationsBackground:
University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, biology or equivalent
Experience working in a multinational company with a matrix organization
>5 years experience in pharmaceutical industry including an experience in Market Access authorities and/ or formulary listing committees, preferably with experience working with Immunology and Oncology therapeutic areas.
Knowledge of Gulf market mechanics, healthcare policies and funding pathways
Knowledge of pharmaco-economic and health technology assessment principles (masters degree is advantage)
Fluent in English
