As a Market Access Lead, you will develop and lead the Market Access strategy to unlock and optimize patients access, within the different healthcare systems and reimbursement systems across the Gulf countries, providing the technical capabilities combined with strategic insights in order to develop solutions for their respective internal clients, with strategic and tactical focus for both pre- and post-launched products.Providing input to the global teams on needs form the region and supporting the affiliates:
Ensuring successful reviews from local decision makers, societies, payers and patients.
Developing relationships with external customers including HTA bodies, Policy Makers, Payers, and Providers.
Promote and share best practice among the affiliates.

Develop and lead the market access strategies and plans implementation, providing the technical capabilities combined with strategic insights in order to develop solutions for their respective internal clients. With strategic and tactical focus for both pre- and post-launched products.
Develop a detailed understanding of the access landscape across the Gulf region to identify barriers and bottlenecks, from a GSK and a patient perspective in different reimbursement systems across different sectors.
Works with the other departments market access teams and cross functionally with the support of the Gov. Affairs to provide the organization with innovative strategies and tools to improve payers engagement within this space.
Develop MA capabilities within the different reimbursement system leading the market access launch readiness for our innovations, further optimise the access of the speciality portfolio and leverage the current opportunities and mitigate the future challenges within this system.
Monitor and drive the implementation of agreed upon launch and lifecycle strategies in the region. Execute projects decided by multifunctional Brand Teams.
Leverage best practices across the region. Propose and design projects and actions (incl. economic models, database studies, payer conferences etc.) to optimize market access, pricing or reimbursement.
Development of access solutions and Market Access - Managed Entry Agreements to accommodate the ecosystem and reimbursement systems dynamics and secure the patient access and uptake.
Development of Value Proposition that will be considered positively by payers within the haematology disease area and will enhance access to GSK products in collaboration with the Medical/Marketing and Value access teams.
Develop and propose creative but solid strategies and approaches to demonstrate the value of and broaden access to our products in the region.
Maintain and improve product value propositions, dossiers, and supportive evidence after launch.
Work in close cooperation with various internal partners, specifically Worldwide Market Access and health economics/outcomes research teams at an affiliate level.
Provide tactical and technical support at the affiliate level for HTA reviews and market access related issue management during the entire product lifecycle. Be the recognized champion for the products in your therapeutic area.
Establish GSK relationship and explore opportunities for partnership that will accelerate the reimbursement of GSK new brands and formulary inclusions. Develop strategies to enable the patients access and patient uptake.Identify and develop stakeholders map with the cross function and engagement strategies with payers and Gov. officials involved in the access journey.Work collaboratively with relevant brand and country teams to:
Drive development of a positive, aligned, and consistent relations with external stakeholders.
Identify and develop market access strategy and cross-functional plan for GSK new Medicines and ensure optimal, aligned, and consistent execution.
Conduct market research to uncover access opportunities and challenges in each market and support business sustainability and growth.
Lead the negotiation process with payer and authorities to ensure the inclusion within the reimbursement systems at the proper pricing position implementing the global guidance on the short and longer terms over the product life cycle.
Identify pricing strategies in collaboration with the Pricing teams and cross functionally to optimise the portfolio pricing strategy to optimise access to patients.
Identify the strategic objectives on the Patients Support and Assistance programs in collaboration with the Patient Advocacy Manager to address the access development for the unprivileged patients as well as improve the adherence in the management of the haematology patients management.
Works in collaboration with the other MA lead on:
Monitor trends and evolution in payers policy and ways of working to identify risks and opportunities.
Map and monitor payer environment and support stakeholders engagement process and alignment.
Work with the internal stakeholders to ensure the integration of the access team with the internal functions.
Working with the cross functional teams to align the key strategic priorities across different therapy areas.
Pursuing short and long-term business opportunities that increment positive drive on the access agenda.
Develops deep understanding of competitive market conditions that affect pricing for individual brands and overall industry.
Initiate capability building activities for the commercial team to increase the awareness about the market access function and ensure common understanding and alignment during the execution of the commercial activities.
Why you?Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Minimum 10 years industry experience, 3 years market access experience within the Hematology/Specialty in the Gulf region.
Preferably Masters in related field (e.g., Health, Science, Pharmacy, Business, Health Economics).
Fluency in English and Arabic language.
Demonstrated credibility, trust with senior policymakers, officials, key stakeholders. Impeccable standing, credibility in line with GSKs Trust Agenda.
Good knowledge of public/private insurance coverage/systems in the Gulf region.
Passport offering ability for unrestricted travel to all 5 Gulf countries in scope (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman).
Demonstrated track record in enabling patient access to breakthrough, promising in hematology scope.
Demonstrated record as a team player, coach and flexible approach to working cross-functionally.
