Reporting to: Head of Maritime Transport Program Location: UAE As a Maritime Lecturer you will support the Academy's strategic goals, teaching various maritime subjects and employing innovative teaching methods. By staying updated with relevant knowledge, conducting research and obtaining student feedback, you will deliver high quality and industry leading maritime training. Qualification, Skills and Experience Essential: STCW Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner Unlimited). MSc or equivalent Master level qualification in relevant subject. Business level written and spoken English. Ability to work within a team, across all cultures. Ability to work under pressure with the intent to complete tasks promptly and efficiently. Desirable: Experience in maritime education and/or training. Sailing experience as a Master on merchant ships. Educational experience with leading courses/ programs, revising course content and developing new programs and courses. Experience in oil/gas operations, dynamic positioning, and simulation training.
