Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering expertise in review of all documents related to Marine discipline during all phases of Projects.
  • Responsible for providing all aspects of design of Maritime Engineering related to multiple product berths, jetty structures, dolphins, dredging, breakwater, seawater intake and outfall, subsea support structures.
  • Extensive knowledge of all marine related studies like ship Mooring analysis, Navigations study, Metocean study, bathymetric study, offshore geotechnical study.
  • Knowledge of design of coastal structures such as breakwater and revetments
  • Experience in Geotechnical and foundation design of coastal and marine structures
  • Understanding of the different types of coastal modelling and design of approach channels
  • Experience in consulting engineering environment including concept, FEED & Detailed Engineering of Project. Must have relevant design experience on a range of Marine Projects.
  • Competent in the use of Industry software
  • Extensive knowledge of coastal modelling including hydrodynamic, waves and sediment, transport modelling including knowledge of DHI Mike Zero and Delft modelling suites, STAAD Pro, PlAXS, Geo5, Slope-W
  • Experienced with British, European and International Standards and other construction practices, such as PIANC
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts with the Project team and troubleshoot problem area that require a high degree of technical judgement. Arrange assistance as and when required in troubleshooting of Jetty, Berths problems related to jetty structures, Pile foundations, etc. and recommend solutions and follow up on implementation.
  • Knowledge of Technical Authority Framework and system.
  • Provide technical support to operations/projects through the Technical Authority framework with clearly defined accountabilities of the discipline.
  • Providing support to Procurement Division in review of technical bids, technical clarification in selection of Consultants and Contractors. Evaluation of pre-qualification applications of Vendors and Consultants in ADNOC Commercial Directory System.
  • Evaluation of design changes, cost optimization, value improvement proposals related to Marine works.
  • Ensure consistency in application of international standards and integration with Group standards.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Discipline Engineering Knowledge community across the Group Companies.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
  • Bachelor in Structural Engineering or related discipline
