Marine Procurement Administrator

Job Description

Procurement Support:

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts for marine equipment, spare parts, and services.
• Ensure purchase orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient products and services.

2. Administrative Tasks:

• Manage and update procurement records, including invoices, delivery schedules, and contracts.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Track inventory levels and notify relevant teams of restocking needs.

3. Budget and Cost Control:

• Support budget preparation and track procurement expenses to align with financial goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

4. Coordination:

• Liaise with the operations and technical teams to understand procurement requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies.

5. Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and marine regulations.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports for management review.

Accountability

• Timely and accurate processing of purchase orders.
• Maintaining procurement records in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Meeting cost-saving targets and ensuring budget adherence.
• Effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to resolve procurement issues.
