• Maintaining tracker of the shipments along with job numbers for all shipments.
• Maintaining Manually Prepared Endorsement Tracker.
• Updating Excel sheet for daily approvals from insurers.
• Maintaining dispatch trackers.
• Quoting clients on single shipments via mails and calls.
• Following up with the insurers for draft approval.
• Following up with the client on draft or quotation approval.
• Follow up with the insurers for approval for sanctions country shipments or high value shipments.
• Issuance of policies for open covers and facultative shipments.
• Requesting Data Processing Team to Invoice.
• Dispatching the policy to the client and collecting the payment.
Knowledge required
• 3-5 years of experience in insurance, ideally as a broker
• Knowledge of the insurance and/or insurance broking industries
• Thorough comprehension of the framework for the marine insurance sector.
• Knowledge of the marine insurance sector and experience with customer service. Uphold relationships and communication with insurance departments and clients.
• The ability to operate under pressure and achieve results in a short period of time.
• Stay up-to-date on local, state and federal law changes in the insurance field.
• Good understanding of insurance quotation negotiation techniques.

• Capable of working under pressure and to short timelines

• Ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest ways of improvement
