Eaton has approximately 96,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.What youll do:The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsThe key Responsibilities:
Project management / Project work for plant related topics
Responsible for achieving project deliverables under consideration of scope-, technical-, schedule-, cost- and quality constraints
Prepare business cases prior project initiation
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement
Implement lean manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement initiatives and FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
Follow change management procedures
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products
Create article for new products in the ERP-system on plant level
Maintain master data, bill of materials and routings in the ERP-system - checks calculations on plant level
Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures
Create and maintains layout plans
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Support standardized work definition as well as the workplace design under the consideration of MESH and LEAN requirements
Provide technical support and training to production staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (greenfield and industrialisation is advantageous)
3-5 years experience within a similar position
Skills:
Comfortable with CAD, MS-Office, ERP-systems (SAP), LEAN and standardizes work (CI-tools knowledge)
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
Digitalisation and automation project management experience would be a plus
Accountable, teamwork, Motivated, engaged, proactive, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Communication and presentation skills
Fluent in written and oral English (German would be a plus)
This role will require traveling (up to 50%)
