Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities: • Setup Parts Parameters and Categorize Components in JDE (ERP)
• Process planning and raising of Bills of Materials from engineering drawings.
• Establish ideal raw material to be used on all products to be manufactured.
• Create and Maintain Process Routing and other Process Parameters.
• Determine best procedure for outside processing, coordinating with machine shop and purchasing.
• Cover duties of Production Engineer when required.
• Support continuous improvement of manufacturing process.
• Responsible for continuous process improvements to reduce standard costs of products.
• Initiate actions for all the ECN's received in a timely manner.
• Design, Develop, Evaluate & Establish Manufacturing Processes and Procedures
• Fixture, Tooling and Process Equipment Design, Evaluation, and qualification
• Prepare Process Work Instructions for Shop Floor Personnel
• Responsible for Studying, evaluating, or improving the Manufacturing process Capability.
• Assess Vendors Process Capability and Provide technical Instructions as needed.
• Perform Process Time Study using MOST or other similar methods.
• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of Experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

SKILLS:

• Proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP - preferably JDE
• Good communication skills (oral and written). Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with internal and external customers to insure positive results.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office
• CAD CAM knowledge
• 2D and 3D Cad experience - preferably with CREO
• Knowledge in various Time Study and Process Improvement techniques.
• Lean and Six Sigma Knowledge
• 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environment or in a machining environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of the oil related manufacturing environment.
• Premium connection manufacturing knowledge such as VAM, TENARIS & JFE
