:Job Purpose:-Responsible to contribute to the team involved in the administration planning, coordination, implementation and maintenance of computerized databases and non-windows O/S and servers and develop policies and procedure for ensuring the security and integrity of all databases including the backup and recovery of the same. The role is also responsible to implement, maintain the DR instances of the Databases and application in the bank along with other teams in IS & T.Key Accountabilities:\xc2\xb7 Implementation of database infrastructure projects involving popular commercially available databases, Operating Systems, storage\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the of design, implementation, support ,capacity planning, performance, availability, reliability, security of Database and application infrastructure inclusive of Oracle/MS SQL Server/DB2 databases, T24 Core Banking application\xc2\xb7 Administration of User Security, Patch deployment, performance, COB Support and capacity planning of T24 Core banking system\xc2\xb7 Creation, implementation and testing of DR for the CORE banking and other applications and database\xc2\xb7 Contribute and maintenance of policies, procedures and standards relating to database and systems management ensuring the security and integrity of all databases in the bank.Job Context:\xc2\xb7 Support Sr Manager- Database Administration in capacity planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of Databases, database design, data migration, system performance monitoring, security patching etc.\xc2\xb7 Must be able to evaluate software vendor/s or product to deliver the most cost effective and technologically appropriate solution for the bank.RequirementsRole: Manager: Database and SystemsIndustry: BankingRole Type: Outsourced, Long Term, Full Time, On-SiteWork location: FUJAIRAH, UAEEducation: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Masters in Computer ApplicationsExperience and Skills:

• Must have worked on 24/7 operations

• Must have handled systems with Database size not less than 300GB and with minimum 100+ concurrent users across deferent geographical locations

• Must have handled multiple database of different technologies

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Strong technical knowledge across multiple layers like SQL DBA, Oracle, Windows Operating Systems, IIS Application Servers and Storage (SAN, NAS).

• Familiarity with international standards such as ITIL/CMMI/ISO
