Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Leadership:
• Oversee daily operations of the chocolate shop, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of chocolates and other products, placing orders with suppliers as needed.
• Customer Service Excellence:
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are upheld at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of chocolate shop staff.
• Schedule shifts and allocate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations and optimal customer service levels.
• Sales and Marketing:
• Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, upselling techniques, and promotional strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.
• Product Knowledge and Quality Control:
• Develop a deep knowledge of the chocolate products offered and convey this knowledge to customers and staff.
• Ensure products are displayed attractively and maintained at high quality standards.
• Financial Management:
• Monitor and manage the shop's budget, including sales targets, expenses, and profitability.
• Prepare daily sales reports and contribute to financial planning and forecasting.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and other administrative tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in a retail environment, preferably in the food or luxury goods industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for chocolate and a strong understanding of different chocolate products and varieties.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field is preferred.
