Responsible for all ADNOC Logistics and Services (L&S) Subsea matters including health and safety, commercial strategy, administration and execution of contracts, policies and procedures, and to lead the Divisions growth objectives.Job Specific AccountabilitiesSubsea Division Management
Manage the overall performance of the ADNOC L&S Subsea Division and act as the line manager for all management roles assigned to the division such as Team Leaders for Diving, Project Managers, Contracts Engineers and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management (QHSE) operatives.
Ensure that contracts are serviced correctly through the provision of subsea service lines which includes such specialist offshore disciplines as diving, Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV), Hydrographic Survey, Engineering, and operation of Diving Support Vessels (DSVs).
Participate and lead planning, assessment, and review of the units equipment, systems, and other asset requirements to ensure all service line capabilities are fit for purpose with optimum performance.
Maintain regular contact and liaison with all ADNOC Head Office and Station Department heads on matters such as activities and performance.
Remain abreast of all ADNOC Company Policies and Procedures as well as national and international regulations relating to the subsea industry, such as International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) and The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) Guidelines and Standards.
New Fleet Selection and Expansion
Act as an active member of the ship-building committee which is responsible for purchasing new vessels for the fleet to increase the Subsea and Offshore Marine Capabilities. Responsible for defining vessel specification, and the modification of existing vessels, evaluation and finalization of vendors and contracts for vessels required for Subsea and Diving Operations Support.
Job Specific AccountabilitiesBusiness Development & Tendering of New Projects
Responsibility for the ADNOC L&S commercial strategy including tender development to tender for all Subsea related services such as Diving and opportunities for utilisation of DSVs.
Conduct new tender discussions with vendors, contracts, supplier, pricing etc.
Lead the screening and research of the local marketplaces to effectively identify profitable business opportunities for subsea related operations (e.g., servicing oil companies in UAE and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies, as well as international clients).
Manage expansion plans, JV discussions for diversification into new services in Subsea operations such as Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance of client infrastructure such as platforms and pipelines and SPMs and offshore construction support activities such as the transport and field installation of infrastructure.
Manage and finalise all aspects of expansion / joint venture negotiation, Terms and Conditions (T&C) finalization, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Manage the development of identified opportunities for revenue growth from existing clients and/or diversification opportunities so that income is maximized from current operations.
Others
Working closely with external communication department for promotion of ADNOC L&Ss Subsea services.
Actively pursue business expansion of the service line beyond the ADNOC Operating Company/Property Company OPCOs and the UAE market to access international clients.
Minimum QualificationBachelor Degree in Marine Engineering or relevant degreeMinimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Must have Subsea related technical qualifications to IMCA standards such as: IMCA Diving Supervisor or ROV Submersible Engineer or Hydrographic Survey Degree.
At least 20 years of experience in the Subsea industry, with minimum of ten (10) years in a Managerial capacity.
Must have extensive Project Management experience in the subsea industry with strong exposure to diving activities
Must have extensive experience in Business Development and Acquisition.
Must be highly knowledgeable about the broader range of subsea disciplines including diving, ROV, survey, specialised techniques such as NDT
Must be highly knowledgeable about Diving Support Vessels and Offshore Support vessels used in the subsea industry including the commercial arrangements involved in these such as BIMCO contracts with demonstrated ability to manage.
Must have high level understanding of the contracting techniques prevalent in the subsea and offshore industry.
Must have knowledge about the implementation of complex integrated projects where multiple service lines inter-operate concurrently to execute a contract i.e. Marine Vessel + Diving + ROV + Survey + Engineering working together to deliver project task completion.
