Our Cargo Division team is growing and on a transformational journey to ramp our operations globally. In this role, you will be accountable for the overall project management office for Cargo, leading transformation projects, assisting large projects and tracking the progress of performance improvement initiatives. Liaise with the Corporate Strategy & Transformation team and assist Cargo Leadership with the preparation of Board and Strategic Presentations and with the development of business area scorecards.Accountabilities:Performance management and business area scorecards:
Support the process of setting of KPIs, weights, and targets for the scorecard of each business area, including detailing and documenting the calculation formula, process and owner for each KPI
Drive monthly tracking of a subset of business area scorecards, as per set definitions/ owners, facilitate discussion, ensure alignment with each business area owner and their appointees and understanding of major deviations vs. previous periods and targets (business areas to be allocated by team member)
Profit improvement initiatives:
Support the identification of profit improvement initiatives, generally during the budget cycle but also throughout the year through partnering closely with the business and the finance business partners, and understanding/ finding initiative opportunities, as well as challenging for further impact and ensuring alignment with set strategic priorities
Track the impact of profit improvement initiatives, having a detailed understanding of its calculation, and provide regular updates on progress and outcomes to senior team members (initiatives to be tracked to be allocated by team member)
Follow up on the execution of the plans set for key profit improvement initiatives, driving action and raising flags whenever adequate (key initiatives to be allocated by team member)
Support the consolidation of presentations for meetings of the Board of Directors, Strategy & Investment Committee:
Support the collection of inputs and the creation of decks and other materials for Board of Directors\' meetings, ensuring the highest level of quality and relevance to the agendas discussed
Ensure deep understanding of the topics being brought forward, discussing with relevant stakeholders as adequate and ensuring alignment on the presented materials (topics to be allocated by team member)
Other strategic initiatives:
Develop ad-hoc impactful communication materials, including crafting compelling narratives, clear visuals, and concise documents, for senior leadership and key external stakeholders (materials/ meetings to be allocated by team member)
Education & Experience:
Bachelor\'s Degree Required, Master\'s Degree Desired, preferably in Finance or Management;
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a large toolbox of visualisation tools/techniques
Preferably 2-3 years airline domain experience, and ideally bring experience from other sectors such as Retail or Hospitality
At least 5 years functional experience including consulting, strategy, financial roles
