To manage the delivery of effective communications across the Bank employing all communication disciplines (PR, social media, advertising, marketing, web/digital platforms, merchandising & events). Paying attention to the development and implementation of the Bank's brand guidelines across all elements of marketing and advertising, and across all Bank communication touch points from corporate collateral and stationery to branch network and client events. Likewise, promoting & embedding a communicative and transparent corporate culture within the organisation by engaging its employees through internal communications.Key AccountabilitiesInternal Communication
Communicate and engage staff so as to promote & embed a communicative and transparent corporate culture within the organisation to align them with the Bank's strategic objectives
Ensure all internal communication, organisational announcements and policy changes are featured on internal communication channels from the staff Intranet to the digital newsletter
Conceptualise and implement communication activities or staff campaigns that reinforce the bank's corporate values as well as enhance the bank's reputation (internally and externally) as an employer of choice.
Regularly monitor and evaluate bank's internal communication efforts so as to improve their overall effectiveness
Communication channels:
o Newsletter: responsible for content writing, editing and publishing the employee newsletter covering stories pertaining to the organisation and its staff o Email communication: responsible for drafting all communication on behalf of the bank and various departments and sharing with employees keeping them aware of everything that's happening in the bank o Staff campaigns: proactively identify, develop and implement various staff engagement campaign to reinforce its corporate values and to encourage the development of a positive staff culture - creation of employee videos, posters of staff recognised for their hard work, intranet blogs, involving staff for CRS activities, etc.
Public Relations:
Supervise and support in developing a PR strategy and support in implementation of the various components of the PR strategy in various communication touch points.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and PR agency in developing and distributing press releases and news announcements
Proactive, transparent communication during crisis, minimising damage to the organisation
Identify, develop and leverage key media relationships to raise awareness of the bank and its business achievements
Communicate NBF's business achievements to the media with the long-term objective of enhancing the organisation's reputation
Manage the development and dissemination of NBF-generated media materials, all the while ensuring quality control and compliance with NBF's corporate identity
Serving as bank liaison with the press locally, as well as in other countries
Implement executive coaching programmes to train executives in media engagement and management
Updating media kit with management bios, company profiles and picture gallery.
Thought Leadership
Manage and facilitate the bank's participation/appearance in industry conferences/events and developing thought leadership content such as white papers and editorial opinion pieces
Organise and support in end-to-end coordination of events that raises the bank's profile with external stakeholders, this includes knowledge sharing events to media networking opportunities with senior management
Develop a robust awards-pitching process to ensure that the bank receive the appropriate public and market validation for its achievements.

Oversee the development of the Bank's corporate identity guidelines to ensure they remain relevant to its long term business needs and strategic positioning. This includes regular re-assessments of the Bank's brand positioning via customer audits and update of the corporate identity guidelines manual
Ensure the consistent application of the Bank's corporate identity guidelines across all elements of advertising, marketing and communication, with the long-term objective of raising and enhancing Bank's external profile in mind.
Manage the Bank's Marketing Requirements
Oversee the bank's business marketing, advertising and client servicing requirements by leveraging all available tools of communication. This includes the development of advertising campaigns employing multiple media channels to production of collateral such as product leaflets and newspaper advertisements - Maintain and update an inventory of the Bank's corporate collateral in support of the Bank's marketing requirements.- Oversee/Manage the publication of critical investor communication such as the NBF UAE Bank Directory, NBF annual report and balance sheet announcements. -Appoint and maintain vendor relationships, hence ensuring timely and cost-effective deliverables.
Branch Network & Channels Development
Support the branding development of the bank's physical infrastructure and customer service channels i.e. ATMs & CDMs, branches, digital channels such as NBF Direct online & mobile banking
Corporate Events & Hospitality
Raise the Bank's market profile and facilitate staff engagement through the organisation of activities i.e. coordinating NBF's participation in industry events, client appreciation functions, annual staff function and family day etc.
Organise NBF events in service of the bank's client relationship building efforts
Develop a framework that identifies and utilises external entertainment and hospitality opportunities best-suited to the bank's client networking requirements.
Digital media (websites & intranet, online banking)
Manage and support all websites of the bank - nbf.ae, nbfislamic.ae, nbfcareers.ae, internet banking, mobile banking
Design and implement digital marketing activities to raise visibility/awareness of the bank and its business/service propositions through SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
Working closely with the web publishers to maintain and upgrade the website with prevailing online best practices so as to promote the brand and its products
Having an eye for user experience that will increase readability and visibility of the page through proper selection of layout, formats, colours, font sizes, banners, images, etc.
Responsible for updating information on the NBF websites and when requested by any stakeholder
Coordinate with internal stakeholders for the vetting of information existing in the website to ensure up-to-date information
Managing the intranet with news and information relevant for employees.

EducationDegree in marketing communications preferredExperience and Skills
Degree in marketing communications preferred
Five to eight years experience in PR and marketing communications preferred, but similar experience in an administrative/project management function would suffice. Experience in financial services a plus.
