At Four Seasons, we are powered by people and our culture enables everything we do.The Role of Manager, Procurement.We currently have an opportunity for a Manager, Procurement to join our Four Seasons Corporate team in Dubai!This role reports to our Senior Procurement Director, this role has a hospitality pre-opening focus; working with Operations teams at the property and corporate level, Design Services and Owners on Uniformly Purchased Items (UPI) procurement process along with UPI budget facilitation and negotiation; all to achieve successful UPI procurement within budget and on time, and oversight of delivery status reporting with a focus on pre-opening projects in MEA and Europe.In addition to the above, other procurement activities to maintain awareness of market trends, conditions, commodities, currencies, and tariffs, as applicable. Responsibility for preparing Request for Proposal, for Quotation, project budgets, status reports and all other departmental reporting. Focus on delivering tangible value in the following areas: cost savings, New Product Development, supply risk management, and ongoing process improvement.This role works, closely with other departments within the organization to ensure all business requirements are incorporated into sourcing strategies. Manage cost savings tracking and assist with preparing annual cost savings analysis report.Our Ideal Procurement Manager will have:5-7 years experience with pre-opening hospitality procurement. An undergraduate degree in business (or related field) and/or Certified Supply Chain Management Professional. Advanced knowledge of procurement techniques, supplier management, pricing methods bid process and contract formation and ongoing management.You will have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams. You should have a proven track record of self-initiative to work independently and with limited supervision, and will be expected to understand the business, drive change and improve processes, demonstrating effective project management skills, as well as strong judgment, political astuteness and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
