Today, Aldar Education\'s efforts are guided by the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 plan, which aims to build a sustainable knowledge-based economy through premium education.The incumbent will continuously strive to exceed internal & external customer expectations, while embracing the Aldar Education core values.The school systems manager oversees the implementation, administration, support, troubleshooting, and general maintenance of a variety of school-based systems across Aldar Education (AE) such as school information school information systems (SIS) and library systems.Responsibilities:Main Duties:

• Develop an in-depth knowledge of education systems.
• Oversee the setup, configuration, and deployment of new school-based systems.
• Oversee support provided to all end users
• Manage the routine administration and maintenance of a range of systems.
• Quality assures all documentation and technical specifications regarding related systems.
• Lead a team of administrators to perform daily duties to ensure system security and integrity.

Specific Duties:

• Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Develop and maintain appropriate guidelines, procedures, and materials for appropriate systems.
• Provide timely communication to leadership and other users regarding the system status, such as notices of scheduled or un-scheduled downtime.
• Perform change management, and conduct test prior to the proposed upgrade or change to ensure the result is as expected
• Performs any other duties as assigned by management that may not be consistent with the qualifications and skills required for this position.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
• IT project management certifications are desirable.
• ITIL certifications are desirable
• DB certifications are desirable

Minimum Experience:

• At least three years of experience managing education systems.
• Must have experience managing school information systems, such as iSAMs, Engage, PowerSchool, etc.
• Experience setting up & implementing new software in schools
