Working in close collaboration with HR and Flight Operations/NACO leadership, you will design and execute creative strategies to ensure our high growth targets are met efficiently. You will lead a small team of recruiters focussed on sourcing, assessment and selection for these critical operational areas. This role will require an understanding of the aviation industry. In addition, you will leverage and contribute to strategic initiatives and projects designed to maximise efficiency, the candidate experience and position Etihad as an employer of choice to these demographics.Accountabilities
Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified professionals globally within a dynamic and highly competitive talent landscape
Lead and coach a small team of TA professionals, ensuring consistently high levels of performance and fostering their ongoing professional development
Collaborate with Flight Ops and NACO leadership and Workforce Planning to understand staffing needs, expansion plans and requirements, aligning recruitment objectives with operational requirements
Manage the attraction, sourcing and selection of all Flight Operations positions, with the exception of the recruitment of new pilots into the organisation, but including pilot appointment holder positions and command upgrades, and all NACO recruitment in the Hub and globally
Utilise aviation industry networks, proactive market mapping, job boards, social media and third-party recruitment agencies to source and identify potential candidates, creating active and future-ready talent pipelines
Lead the design and execution of the assessment and selection process
Drive employer branding initiatives specific to Flight Operations and NACO recruitment, with support from the Employer Branding Manager
Monitor recruitment metrics and analysis to track the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimise talent acquisition processes
Focus on continuous improvement of the process and the candidate experience
Education & Experience
7-10 years of relevant experience within flight operations recruitment in a major airline
Knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry best practice in recruitment
Proven ability to lead and motivate small teams to deliver results in complex and dynamic circumstances
Strategic thinker with the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems to deliver the right results
Proficiency in recruitment technologies with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making
Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
