Synopsis
  • The objective and key function of this position is decision making on pre-vendor appointment i.e, but not limited to; supplier selection, procurement process, price negotiating & terms of supply in line with EY Corporate Governance best practices and assure highest ethical standards are maintained in the process and develop supply chain strategies to yield supply contracts at the Lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and within the projects' schedule
  • After allocating work assignments, appointing the contractor/consultant, and issuing deadlines, managers oversee the work to ensure that it is proceeding on schedule and meeting established quality standard as per the project scope and end-users expectations and acceptance criteria of the organization
  • To close the allocated project(s), including orderly handover to the end-user, other stakeholders within the organization for long term asset monitoring and maintenance and all project administrative, contractual, technical and commercial
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all stakeholders during the whole cycle of the project delivery
Accountabilitiesxc2xb7 Manage RFP, RFI and RFQ processes in compliance to Corporate Governance & maintain high levels of Ethics in procurement process by developing processes to compliment the user department's requirements, including production, collation and distribution of required documents.xc2xb7 Working with the department and end user senior management to manage project budget and aim for savings by efficient and sound technical delivery and value engineering exercises.xc2xb7 Develop project scope, technical solution of the project, project execution plan, project schedule, obtain approval from all stakeholders and execute accordingly. Develop strategic relationships with local and international suppliers and manage supplier performance to achieve advantageous service levels.xc2xb7 Deliver and complete assigned projects with sapital expenditure aligned with the signed contract and project scope withing budget and within agreed schedulexc2xb7 Development and execution of category sourcing strategy. Utilize various strategic sourcing techniques to leverage company-wide spend from multiple operating locations.xc2xb7 Conduct project closeout meetings and ensure all relevant documents, i.e O&M manual, warranties and as-built documents are filed and shared. Including collating lesson learned register for sharing and improvements of future project delivery and all commercial closeoutxc2xb7 Negotiate with vendors using negotiation expertise in partnership with contract managers to secure best quality at total lowest cost.xc2xb7 Employ culture of best practice and staff development to maximize the capabilities of team members to achieve efficiency.xc2xb7 Adhere to established processes and best practices standard, in line with the organizations branding, procurement's governance and all local codes and regulations in building construction delivery.xc2xb7 Perform quality control on project delivery, including health and Safety protocols at all times for the whole project duration.Education & Experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Material Supply chain Management and Strategic decision making of cost control, Business Development Management and Market Research, Customer Management, Building technology and Construction and Fitout works
  • Project management qualification (e.g. PMP, APM, or PMI membership) or proven knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile Project Management) is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in relevant field of which 3 years in a managerial position
