The Manager of Program Governance & Business Resilience is responsible for establishing and enforcing governance policies and SOPs to ensure compliance across finance, HR, and technology operations. They identify and mitigate operational risks, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and drive workflow improvements, using automation tools and industry best practices to enhance efficiency. The role involves developing contingency plans for operational disruptions and leading crisis response efforts, ensuring business continuity and rapid resolution of urgent issues. Additionally, they monitor risk trends, adjust governance models, and facilitate cross-team problem-solving to mitigate risks affecting program execution and resource allocation.
Responsibilities:
Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce business unit governance policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment with contractual, regulatory, and internal policy compliance.
Operational Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across finance, HR, and technology, implementing strategies to reduce bottlenecks and operational delays.
Process Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and implement workflow improvements, driving continuous improvement initiatives and incorporating automation tools and industry best practices.
Operational Audits & Reviews: Conduct regular operational audits and process documentation reviews to ensure policies are followed and processes are scalable.
Crisis & Incident Management: Develop contingency plans for operational disruptions and lead response efforts in escalations, risk mitigation, and crisis management, ensuring business continuity.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate cross-team problem-solving workshops and resolution frameworks to address program execution challenges and operational issues.
Risk Monitoring & Adjustment: Monitor risk trends, assess impact on operations and resource allocation, and adjust governance models accordingly to ensure smooth program execution.
Business Resilience: Establish and maintain best practices for crisis response and business continuity planning, ensuring rapid resolution of urgent challenges impacting the business unit.
