About The Role
Manager, Procurement in the Tactical team is responsible for optimizing the efficiency of the tactical sourcing department with focus on achieving customer satisfaction whilst reducing costs to the business. Duties include planning, scheduling, initiating, monitoring and quality assurance of ad hoc, one-time, non-critical procurement activities across wide range of categories, including but not limited to Food and Beverage, professional services, IT, OS&E. This role has 6 direct reports and is expected to perform under the general direction of the Director, Procurement.
Person in this role will have to achieve the wider business objectives, including a streamlined sourcing operations procedure, continuous improvement of PO process cycle time and team performance tracking system. This role would best suit an analytical, solution-driven individual, who is dedicated to driving efficiency while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Additionally, Manager Procurement will oversee every aspect of the sourcing process and will determine the company\'s service measures, delivery criteria and ensure SLAs and KPIs towards the business are met.
About You
Ideally, we\xe2\x80\x99d like you to have a relevant bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Economics, Supply Chain, International Business or Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 prior experience in successfully managing the sourcing function and capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will have to demonstrate multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition to this, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management. In this role, you will have the natural ability to effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and trust. Exceptional creative and analytical problem-solving skill set with a strong desire to constantly grow and evolve. Experience of working within a large-scale hotel or resort would be preferred.
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for candidates with prior experience in negotiation and analysis, good understanding of contracts terms and conditions as well as ethical procurement will be a big plus.
