OverviewFacility overview:M42 in partnering with the UAE Ministry of Defence to operate Zayed Military Hospital in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. This collaboration will provide world-class healthcare to over three million residents in the northern UAE, including military personnel and their families. By integrating top healthcare providers like the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Healthpoint, M42 will ensure access to specialized and preventative care. Full-scale operations are set to launch in early 2025.Role overview: This role is tasked with overseeing the operational activities of the Pharmacy function and its associated satellite pharmacies, ensuring the delivery of world-class pharmaceutical services for both inpatients and outpatients in accordance with M42 and DOH/DHA policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. Additionally, the role involves providing pharmaceutical care by preventing, identifying, and resolving medication and drug therapy issues, as well as evaluating drug treatments to ensure their safe and effective administration in alignment with M42 and DOH/DHA policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.Responsibilities
Adheres to division policies and ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and certification standards.

Conducts clinical pharmaceutical tasks, including providing drug information to patients and staff as needed.

Liaises with medical and nursing staff to coordinate pharmaceutical activities and resolve medication-related issues.
Maintains proper inventory of pharmaceutical supplies, including conducting annual stock takes.
Participates in designing clinical programs for patient safety, supports educational needs related to medications, and ensures adherence to quality management and safety systems.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in pharmacy or PharmD with an active DOH license.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills possess knowledge of key pharmaceutical procedures and current best practices
