To Manage the Material Planning, Purchasing and Repairs within Engineering & Maintenance division to support the divisional activities. Ensure efficient process and procedures to deliver maximum efficiency in terms of material availability and utilization avoiding obsolescence or surplus to optimize cost of ownership. Accountable to manage inventory- owned, pooled, leased and consigned parts with clean record of assets always. Responsible to efficiently negotiate and manage all types of contracts with supplier support agreements with OEMs and Aircraft manufacturer. Capable of managing initial provisioning, re provisioning, repair management, loans, modification and BFE materials. Ensuring Quality and Safety standards are maintained to the highest level. Possess leadership skills and management capabilities to manage competitive supply chain support.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIESKey Activities * Prepare the annual budget for the spares and materials to support the flydubai fleet of Aircraft.

• Plan the procurement of spares and materials cost effectively within the approved budget including BFE.
• Management of component repairs and sub-contracts.
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and OEMs for supplier support agreements.
• Negotiate and manage the component pool and ensure vendor KPIs are achieved
• Manage and monitor PBH & JIT contracts
• Ensure flydubai owned assets are controlled and reconciled
• Liaise with MCC, Engineering and maintenance within the division and other departments for any material procurement related activities.
• Manage Base maintenance and outstation MROs material requirements.
• Good understanding and knowledge of technical documents and aircraft parts specification
• Ensure departmental measurements are achieved and company goals are accomplished
• Represent materials in operational meetings and provide required information to the Head of Materials

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLSMinimum Qualification

• University degree in related field or full technological degree in related subject or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of practical experience in an aviation material function and 5 years in similar role

Knowledge / Skills

• Ability to work well independently & cross functionally as part of a team. Strong communication, time management & problem solving skills. Demonstrate experience in computer system. Ability to analyse information and make decisions.

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge in AMOS system is an added advantage
• Possess Material provisioning skill
