MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLETo manage the end-to-end software development, integration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of multiple projects under the portfolio while maintaining effective relationships with technology partners and third-party software vendors, to ensure solutions are correctly designed, developed, tested, and scalable to meet the growing/changing demands of the flydubai business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages and oversees the progress and successful completion of all technology projects within the line of business, to ensure optimal delivery of value through IT initiatives.
• Leads software engineering teams and supervises key phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within the Enterprise which includes Requirements Management, Application Design, Software Development, Software Testing, and Software Deployment
• Ensures SDLC activities adhere to established plans and timelines, collects, and shares appropriate metrics to develop capability baselines.
• Identifies, manages, and mitigates management, planning, scheduling, and development-related risks within application development projects and activities.
• Validates that all applications and modifications align with the organizations technology infrastructure and business objectives.
• Takes a pivotal role in organizational endeavors regarding the selection, acquisition & deployment of new software business solutions.
• Leads and supervises multiple software development/integrations teams, across various project categories, including in-house development, turnkey solutions, and package acquisitions.
• Oversees 24x7 application support operations, delivering Level-1 and Level-2 support, liaising with Enterprise architecture for Level-3 assistance, and escalating issues to third-party solution providers when necessary.
• Manages the timesheet recording, OPEX, and CAPEX budget of the respective business units or teams.
• Organizes Service Level Review meetings for all the internal and external services on a regular basis, generating necessary reports for relevant stakeholders.
