We empower our customer to focus on its missions, confident that its land-based platforms and systems, warfighters and other personnel are in optimal condition to operate at peak performance.Key Responsibilities:Provides immediate leadership, guidance and supervision for all IT & Digitalisation employees at AL TAIF TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC. Manages the day-to-day operations of the IT and Digitalisation section. Responsible for the continued evolution of the corporate supported Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications and infrastructure, including the Enterprise Asset Management and all other applications. Monitors and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures, help desk issues and resolving IT issues. Ensures the process is maintained within the latest ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standards. Learns, understands and complies with applicable health, safety and environment directives. Participates in the development of a safe and healthy working environment. Ensures compliance with all company policies, manuals, procedures and work instructions.
Establish, manage and maintain strategic relationships with customers.
Regularly interact with functional groups within the IT and Digitalisation section to communicate and clarify customer requirements.
Perform as liaison between the enterprise and end-users, outside vendors, contractors and consultants to define and establish service and support requirements.
Investigate and resolve customer relationship problems.
Implement system changes through automation, process changes, management solutions and training.
Plan, direct and review the work plan for IT and Digitalisation employees.
Assign work activities, projects and programs.
Review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures and work instructions.
Work with department teams to implement digital transformation activities and translate those digital objectives into executable programs of work, from strategy through to implementation.
Provide leadership for company clients in defining and shaping a successful digital transformation by defining a manageable scope of work, developing a credible delivery roadmap and establishing a sustainable delivery model.
Manage communication with all areas of the company that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
Ensure the IT and Digitalisation Department has the appropriate resources, budget and tools to provide the highest level of customer service.
Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
Act as primary section interface with vendors and provide internal analysis and support.
Manage and report on the allocation of the IT and Digitalisation budget.
Develop and implement the IT and Digitalisation policy as well as best practice guides for the organisation.
Develop, implement, revise and enforce all quality directives as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
Ensure compliance with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
Recommend and provide additional training when determined necessary.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
Perform other duties as required by the Senior Manager, Production Control and Information Technology.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering required, Master degree preferred, or Equivalent years of Experiences in the same field
A minimum of six to eight years of experience supervising, managing, and/or directing a team of IT professionals is preferred.
Key Skills:
Working knowledge of IT operations, including but not limited to data centres, help desks, project management, application development, telecommunications and network engineering is required.
Functional knowledge of MAXIMO, SAO, SYCLO, DYNAMICS and EXCHANGE applications is preferred.
Functional knowledge of servers, PCs, laptops, routers, switches, firewalls, storage area networks and network attached storage devices is required.
An understanding of dashboards and report applications is preferred.
The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
