Purpose of the Job



Plan, direct, coordinate and monitor the activities and processes of the Human Resources function for ME region.



Responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the organization's rewards and benefit policies, general HR Policies & Procedures, Performance Management, and Employee relations for ME region while complying with the local Labour Laws & Legistlations.



Provide professional advice and guidance to management on various issues related to HR and Compensation



Key Responsibilities



Develop, maintain and update HR policies and procedures, compile standard operating practices identifying important policy issues for organization development taking into consideration current applicable local and international laws, company requirements and future trends.



Implement and lead the Talent Strategy process, with a focus on succession plans for key critical positions encouraging cross-fertilization within the organization, to reduce the business risk.



Analyse and compare compensation benchmarking and trends, establish compensation guidelines and recommendations.



Evaluate compensation schemes and convert relative job worth into monetary values to be administered according to pay-scale guidelines and policy.



Establish competitive salary scales designed to attract, retain, and motivate employees.



Administer of the monthly payroll with regular check and balances. Recommend and implement means of enhancing payroll efficiency and elimination of errors.



Manage the employment formalities and engagement processes of all new employees. Ensure that Induction programs are administered in a professional and timely manner. Make certain new Employees are provided with special guidance and assistance throughout the initial period of employment.



Administer grievance/discipline procedures and employee relations protocol. Investigate and resolve complex HR issues related to employee disputes and grievances, advice and collaborate with management on all aspects related to the processes of handling grievance/discipline related issues, recommend remedies and solutions as necessary.



Manage the Performance Management System. Link performance appraisal results to established reward schemes and according to organizat operational requirements.



Provide information and support to BU/Function Heads and employees on HR policies and procedures.



Drive best practices and act as counsel to managers on all issues of employee performance.



Work with relevant internal resources to ensure legal compliance in admin functions such as; work permit registrations, visa renewals, Insurance renewals, maintaining personnel files, maintain Leave balances ensuring all required forms are completed.



Perform Talent Acquisition activities as per planned & approved budget.



Execute HRA activities in the HR Central Success Factors system for the region.



Take part & execute activities related to Employee Engagement, Rewards & Recognition, Wellness projects as planned & approved.



Take part in regional projects as applicable.



Improve professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal/professional networks; participating in professional societies.



Facilitate and communicate the employee survey process, as well as ensure that the relevant insights are shared transparently with the team.



Compile annual HR operations budget and manage accordingly within parameters of forecasting



Utilise financial resources within the allocated budget or approved quotes.



Partner with global HR team to address, develop relevant leadership and development initiatives for employees.

Continuously monitor labour and employment legislation changes and regulatory requirements by staying updated with the latest disciplinary, labour and employment acts



Required Education & Skills



Bachelor's Degree, Preferably with a specialization in Human Resources Management. or Business Management



Knowledge & Understanding of Employment Law & Practices in the Middle East Region is preferred.



HR Certifications e.g. CIPD or SHRM Certification etc. is advantageous



Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resource Management with previous experience in managing various stakeholders in multinational companies.



In-depth knowledge in relevant industry experience is advantageous



Proficient in English (written and spoken)



Microsoft Office Intermediate to Advanced
