Majid Al Futtaim Retail is seeking a highly skilled Manager - Finance Analytics and Business Intelligence to drive data-driven decision-making within the finance function. This role will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable insights using advanced analytics, automation tools, and business intelligence solutions to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities- Lead analytics and automation projects, gathering requirements, brainstorming solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation.
- Maintain and enhance existing BI solutions, adapting them to evolving business needs.
- Conduct ad-hoc business intelligence analysis, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Design data models to transform raw financial data into meaningful insights for reporting and forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for data acquisition and develop analytics tools that enhance customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Drive automation initiatives for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions.
- Utilize predictive analytics and machine learning (ML) methodologies to support finance-related decision-making.Requirements- Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance Analytics or related transformational roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Systems; certification in analytical tools is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Python/R, Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps, SQL, and VBA for financial reporting and automation.
- Experience in predictive analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) within the finance domain is preferred.
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheets, cash flows, and financial reporting principles.
