Job Summary/Main Purpose


As Manager of Engineering Transformation, you will be responsible for leading engineering transformation initiatives to optimize and enhance manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and drive technological advancements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, and a passion for continuous improvement.




Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas


Strategic Planning and Leadership:


• Develop and implement engineering transformation strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of engineering projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify areas for improvement and innovation.


Process Optimization:


• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.


Technological Advancements:


• Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies.
• Lead the integration of digital tools and Industry 4.0 principles in manufacturing operations.


Project Management:


• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within budget and timeline constraints.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget.


Team Development:


• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications, Key Experiences / Functional Knowledge Requirements:


Education:


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field). A Master's degree is preferred.


Experience:


• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in engineering within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of leading engineering transformation initiatives and projects.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
