Assist Head of Shared Services Audit in preparing a comprehensive, long-range Sharia Audit Plan covering the Human Resources, Legal, Central Operations, Internal Control & Operational Policies and Administration corporate functions of DIB. Prioritizing the Sharia audit assignments based on Sharia risk assessment, and scheduling of follow-up activities in an effective and efficient manner.Co-ordinate with Head of Shared Services Audit in preparing GISA staffing plans and financial budgets, including the number of auditors and the knowledge, skills and disciplines required to achieve the approved plan.Ensure the degree of Sharia risk and its impact is identified and evaluated for each Sharia Audit assignment.Ensure the structure of Shared Services Sharia Audit unit is established and monitored in an efficient and timely manner.Ensure the planning, execution and reporting of individual audit assignments are followed to meet the professional standards.Ensure performance of all aspects of the Sharia audit are covered without compromising high-level efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure Quality Assurance checklists are maintained to implement the ongoing monitoring function properly.Ensure that subordinates keep abreast of professional developments and monitors professional development programs for assigned employees.Perform additional tasks given by the Group Head of Internal Sharia Audit.All the above accountabilities including but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.Competencies/SkillsMinimum Bachelors Degree in economics, accounting, banking or finance with knowledge in Sharia or Bachelors Degree in Sharia with knowledge in accounting or finance.Professional Certificate (CSAA. equivalent qualification is an added advantage).
