Job Summary/Main Purpose Manager - Planning is responsible for the demand, material and supply plans that enable the Supply Chain organization to meet customer service and total delivered cost objectives. Having high interaction and influence with cross-functional teams to ensure that we support the Organization\'s objective . monitoring department\'s budget, inventory, and production schedules. Maintained optimally efficient inventory of production materials.The goal is to manage the entire planning cycle so as to enhance business continuity , ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities & Key Result AreasBusiness Leadership
Created planning processes and generated reports about new programs, plans, and procedures. Managed all general planning issues for the department and reviewed development proposals to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
Provide leadership and mentoring for a team of Demand Planners & Supply Planners to ensure right career development is prioritized and focused on functional competency improvements.
Execute plans to achieve and exceed customer service, working capital, waste, and forecast accuracy targets.
Collaborate, build and maintain relationships with key commercial partners (Sales, marketing, finance, deployment, etc.) and ensure alignment that provides an accurate forecast for downstream planning.
Collaborate, build and maintain relationships with key functional partners (Procurement, Technical and Production, etc.) to partner on opportunities in the supply plan.
Drive organization Continuous Excellence behaviors within the team including root cause analysis.
Implement recommended standardization and be a change across demand, material, production and supply planning.
Monitor all department budgets and manage all inventories continuously and assist all team members to manage all demand plans, material plans, supply plans and production schedules.
Manage Distribution Requirements Planning / Replenishment while Determines and ensures execution of deployment strategies for Finished Goods i.e. push vs pull
Manage Master Production Scheduling (MPS) by Creates and understands rough cut capacity plan (RCCP)
Manage Production Scheduling that Influences the safety-stock holding of suppliers for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) etc
Managing Inventory Planning, Managing Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), Managing Material Call Off
Manage Agreeing Constrained Supply Plan
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
People Leadership
Ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the department personnel is carried out and adapted according to the needs of the Organization in coordination with HR and training
Supervise, coach and train department staff on key technical inputs
Define an optimum organization structure for the function, so that resources are optimally utilized and communications can be executed in an efficient manner.
Review and ensure that operational and administrative practices, policies and procedures across the division are being followed by all employees
