The position of Manager: Cybersecurity Defence Operations has arisen in our organisation and we urgently want to speak to dynamic, qualified and experienced cyber security defence operations professionals interested in being part of cyber defence operations team.Job Purpose:
You will lead cybersecurity defense operations and the strategic oversight to ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance across the Emirates Group. Additionally, you will manage operational services, including service modifications, and integrating new services, whilst also providing the expertise and resources necessary to maintain the highest standards of cybersecurity defence and operational excellence.What you will do:
  • Lead the planning and execution of a 3-year cybersecurity service strategy. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and efficient resource allocation. Drive the continuous assessment and enhancement of cybersecurity service delivery models, employing best practices to elevate service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee cyber incident response operations, ensuring rapid containment, eradication, and recovery processes are in place to minimize the impact on business operations. Ensure the timely and effective delivery of all cybersecurity managed services, fostering collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders for seamless service integration.
  • Lead the evaluation and reporting on cybersecurity performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for an informed decision-making on security strategies and investments. Build and maintain strong customer service relationships, assessing and aligning cybersecurity service levels with business requirements and expectations.
  • Manage cybersecurity service prioritization and assignment, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence in cybersecurity practices.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity Awareness to educate and engage internal customers through tailored educational programs, workshops, and communications, enhancing the adoption of cybersecurity solutions and services and strengthening the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.
  • Ensure compliance in the delivery and management of cybersecurity infrastructure, implementing best practices for robust security operations as well as o versee the development and operationalization of a standardized portfolio of identity-related services, ensuring scalable and secure identity management solutions are implemented across the organization.
  • Lead the cybersecurity intelligence cycle, delivering strategic insights and actionable intelligence to stakeholders, enhancing decision-making and cybersecurity responsiveness across the organization including c ollaborate with the Identity Engineering to integrate these services seamlessly and effectively.
  • Manage the cybersecurity operations budget, optimizing expenditures and investments in security technologies, personnel training, and process improvements to achieve cost-effective security solutions.
  • Cultivate a high-performing cybersecurity team through strategic leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities, ensuring team readiness to meet current and emerging cybersecurity challenges.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top cybersecurity talent, through a robust performance management and team upskilling strategies.
Qualifications & Experience: What you will bring:
  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
  • IT Service Delivery Related Certifications such as ITIL
  • 10+ yrs in Information Technology/CyberSecurity environment.
  • 10+ yrs overall working experience managing large global managed IT services contracts with at least
  • 8+ years of senior management experience in technology operations
  • 5+ years of cyber security consulting experience in cyber security service management
Knowledge/skills:
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution in organisations of 100+ people and budgets in excess of USD$50m
  • Strong leadership, Problem-solving mindset and decision making abilities.
  • Proven Experience in a diverse environment interacting with various teams and functions to support strategic goals and in championing culture change management initiatives
  • Broad-based experience across multiple cyber security areas, such as threat intelligence, security operations management, endpoint, and cloud security
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing bespoke cost models and service pricing models
  • Proven revenue generation and margin improvement skills
