Job Description

Job Summary
  • Conduct financial analysis, optimization and business valuation in support of business development for green-field / brown-field development projects, acquisitions, divestments, and stake sales
  • Build, audit and maintain comprehensive financial models for large infrastructure projects (for green-field and brown-field developments, acquisitions, divestments, and stake sales) in full compliance with project and financial agreements, incorporating applicable accounting and taxation policies for the applicable geographies
  • Fund-raising support including structuring, negotiations with banks, export credit agencies and other financial institutions
  • Tax and accounting due diligence and modeling
  • Preparation of investment memoranda / internal documents including reports, summaries, and presentations for investment decisions
ObjectivesThe Manager should have the ambition to master financial modeling and fundamentals of financial structuring and documentation for target geographies within 6-9 months in order to be able to graduate to a more senior role and start focusing on transaction management including financial structuring, documentation and relationship development.Main ContactsThe Manager has regular contacts with:
  • Accounting and tax advisers
  • Colleagues within the APF Department
LocationBased out of DubaiFrequent overseas travel may be required.EducationBachelor\'s degree in finance / commerce / engineeringAn MBA from a reputed institution / CFA as an additional qualification is welcome.LanguageKnowledge of English is mandatoryKnowledge of business French and Arabic will be considered as a plusExperience4-8 years of relevant work experience is required. Experience with banks or other financial institutions, financial advisory service providers or consultancies with a proven track record in building and managing financial models is required, prior knowledge of project finance would be an important asset.Additional Competencies
