Position Summary :
Reporting to: : CEO
Finance & Accounts Manager to lead and manage the financial and accounting operations of our engineering company. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in finance management, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sectors. This role demands strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and strategic decision-making to support the company's growth objectives.
Job Requirements :
1. Financial Management
• Oversee the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize resource utilization.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.
2. Strategic Planning and Decision Support
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, project feasibility, and cost-effectiveness of business operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial objectives with organizational goals.
3. Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals.
• Conduct regular training to enhance the team's technical and functional capabilities.
• Set performance goals and ensure team alignment with organizational targets.
4. Accounting Operations
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting functions such as payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closures.
5. Compliance and Audits
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate governance.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
